Almost a quarter of children living in the UK are living in poverty. That’s roughly 3.7 million. Of those millions, 1.7 million are living in severe poverty.
That’s why the charity Cash for Kids has launched a campaign called Mission Christmas in order help these disadvantaged children.

Who are Cash for Kids?
They are an incredible charity whose main aim is to help disadvantaged and underprivileged children and teenagers. The charity enables these children to have a better future. Every year Cash for Kids, along with the public, raise millions of pounds through campaigns such as Mission Christmas. This money goes towards children who may be neglected or abused, or who may have special needs.
What Is Mission Christmas?
Mission Christmas is a campaign that has been launched by Cash for Kids. And along with many organisations across the UK, they help to make Christmas a little bit brighter for children who may be in need. Mission Christmas does this by collecting presents and donations that have been deposited at drop off points, and then donating them to underprivileged children.
How Can You Help?
You can help this year by coming down to our showroom this Christmas, and donating a gift for a child aged 0-18. Just one extra present can make a whole world of difference. If you’d prefer to donate money instead, then that’s fantastic too. You can make a donation online, on the phone, or in person.
What Do We Want?
We’re looking for people to make a donation of a new or unwrapped gift, for a young child. You can drop this off at any Cash for Kids drop off point. Our Hippo Motor Group showroom will be a drop off point this year.

How is Hippo Helping?
