Hippo Motor Group are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Valet Team Leader to oversee the team at our prep centre. The valet team leader is responsible for the efficient operation of the valet bay, managing all administrative aspects of the department, including workflow, process, quality, and stock ordering. The team leader will ensure that the valet bay operates in compliance with company policies and industry standards, delivering high volume and quality of work. Manage and supervise a team of valet staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
Assign tasks, schedules, and monitor staff performance.
Resolve any staff-related issues or conflicts.
Ensuring the team meets targets
Ensuring vehicles are valeted to the highest standards and quality checking the work
Managing daily deliveries, organizing staff rotas, and ensuring valet bays are tidy
Encouraging communication between staff and management, and liaising with internal and external organizations
Completing and submitting documentation and weekly audit reports
Carrying out regular stock control of valeting materials and ordering new stock
Ensuring staff follow health and safety regulations

Proven experience in vehicle valeting and machine polishing.
Knowledge and experience in applying paint protection coatings.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A strong team leader with good communication skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
