We are seeking an experienced tyre fitter to join our busy team at Hippo Motor Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in tyre fitting, although we are willing to train someone with a mechanical background who is eager to learn.

The working hours for this role are;

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Saturdays, 9:00am to 4pm on a 1 in 4 rota

Fitting and balancing tyres on a wide range of vehicles, from small cars to commercial vehicles
Carrying out wheel alignments and balancing as required
Conducting vehicle inspections to identify any issues with tyres or wheels.
Assisting with other mechanical tasks in the workshop as required

At least 1 year of experience in tyre fitting (preferred)
Full UK Driving licence (essential)
A mechanical background (preferred)
Knowledge of wheel alignment and balancing techniques
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
