Trainee Automotive Styling Technician | Sterling Automotive

Due to our growth, we are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic trainee who will learn to specialise in automotive styling. The role will provide excellent career development opportunities and the chance to work for an exciting, growing business.

The standard working hours are 40 hours per week 7.30 AM to 4 PM Monday – Friday.

The successful candidate will train to be competent in a range of areas covered below, and will have the potential to specialise in a particular field as they progress:

  • To work alongside a maintenance technician, assisting with appropriate fixes
  • To carry out all work effectively
  • To accurately record all details on relevant job cards
  • Work within the tyre bay
  • Changing tyres
  • Wheel repairs
  • Diamond cut wheels
  • Powder coating
  • Wheel balancing
  • Assisting with the full wheel repair process
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard
  • To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • To maintain and update your individual experience, skills and knowledge through training programmes
