Bodyshop Smart Repairer Technician

Hippo Motor Group are currently recruiting a Bodyshop Smart Repairer to prepare our cars that require cosmetic refurbishment. We sell over 800 vehicles a month that all go through our workshop and body shop before sale. We have a growing team of 15 who all work to ensure our vehicles are prepared to a high standard before they are delivered to our customers. This means our team repair and refurbish thousands of vehicles per year, so we require a SMART Repairer to train alongside our experience technicians.

  • Perform high-quality smart repairs on various vehicle surfaces including plastics, upholstery and paintwork
  • Assess damage to vehicles and determine the appropriate repair techniques to restore them to optimal condition.
  • Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and customer satisfaction before vehicle delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and effectively during the repair process
  • Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and automotive technologies through ongoing training and development.
  • Proven experience in automotive repairs, specifically in smart repairs or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess issues quickly and efficiently
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and repair techniques as needed
