Service Advisor

Due to our success and expansion, Hippo Motor Group are looking for an experienced service advisor to join our expanding After-Sales Team. The successful candidate will have previous service advisor experience to allow them to take sole responsibility for managing the entire service department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a competent service advisor to take ownership and evolve our Service departments. The working hours are 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Job Reference
  • Responsible for the full service process
  • Taking customer enquiries
  • Responsible for all internal and external invoicing
  • Liaise with relevant departments and the customer to book the work in
  • Maintain communication with the relevant departments to follow up on the progress and keep the customer up to date when required
  • Offer additional service work
  • Responsible for collecting full payment for retail work
  • Responsible for all administration related to the process
  • Finding manufacturers repairs times
  • Responsible for the handover of the vehicle when the customer collects
  • Appraise and record vehicle condition upon handovers, e.g. dents, marks, mileage and fuel etc on an acceptance note, support with video and charge for any additional damage or over mileage
  • Ensure abidance to all FCA and compliance regulations
