One of the country’s largest motor trade organisations, Hippo Motor Group, is currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager to work closely with the Head of Marketing and the marketing team. We are a trailblazing, award-winning company, operating in the thriving automotive business community of Lancashire.

The successful candidate will design the marketing strategy for the group and deliver it using a combination of agency and in-house resources.

This role is ideal for a candidate looking to demonstrate their skills on a national stage in a fast-growing business. In a team of over 330 staff, you will be the expert and authority on your specialism and as such will be involved in both high-level strategy and hands-on implementation.

This role is full time in our Blackburn Head Office with the option of working one day a week from home.

Deliver an engagement-driven organic social strategy with modest content production capability.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns including seasonal promotions.
Communications planning including working with external PR agencies.
Event management and organisation, both internally and customer facing.
Heavy involvement in content marketing through an industry leading content marketing agency.
Be hands on with the implementation of day-to-day marketing tasks including some capacity with Canva/ Adobe Creative Cloud.
Plan, develop and implement the company marketing strategy across multiple B2C brands.
Work closely with the senior team in the development and implementation of brand strategy.
Responsible for delivering TTL strategy through media planning partner, including outdoors, press, radio and non-performance media buying such as programmatic audio, VOD, TV.
Take ownership of the design language and creative execution of the businaess including managing design resource.
Define marketing KPI frameworks and reporting processes (you will have support for the Data team).
Provide feedback on insight on how to best optimise marketing strategy.

Are comfortable writing punchy copy and have enough design capability to edit existing templates.
Are passionate about Marketing across all of its forms.
Can demonstrate commercial awareness – understanding some of the internal and external trends that affect the automotive sector.
Are good at both project management and time management.
