Hippo Motor Group is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated advisor to be responsible for managing our live chat enquiry system.
We are a successful multi-million-pound family-run business that specialises in leasing new and used vehicles. The live chat advisor will be the first point of contact for customers looking to purchase a vehicle and will work to ensure each of our customers is transferred through to a salesperson as efficiently as possible.
Due to Hippo’s success, we are currently in the middle of a large expansion, with our prestige showroom and sales office doubling in size; providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate.
Be the first point of contact for customers on the website who wish to engage via live chat
Ensure all customers are passed through to an account manager as efficiently as possible
Handle roughly 100 chats and 70 enquiries per day
Liaise with other departments such as customer care, aftersales etc. to forward customer queries on
Will receive some sales training to manage certain queries and ask the right questions which will help conversion rates for the sales team
In time, have the ability to provide rough guidelines on quotes and eventually be able to complete deals via live chat
Provide reporting to management on profitability of source on a monthly basis
To hit minimum performance targets
To maintain a work rate and level that falls in line with the company’s objectives
Follow all company procedures
Adhere to the FCA rules and guidelines

To offer our customers a high level of service and maintain good customer satisfaction and retention

Experience working to and hitting performance targets
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Professional and friendly manner
Ability to work to your own initiative with minimal supervision while working in a close-knit team
Self-motivated, driven and passionate about your role
Organisation and the ability to manage numerous tasks at one time is vital
