Alongside a working knowledge of the motoring industry, we’re looking for a creative junior copywriter with a passion for language, an eye for detail and a talent for using SEO tools to drive traffic to our websites.

In this role, you will support our senior copywriter across all projects, writing for five of Hippo Motor Group’s most recognised brands. You’ll be working on several projects at once, spanning a wide range of disciplines; writing, and using a CMS to upload content with images across brand websites, campaign and communications messaging and digital storytelling.

As part of our creative in-house marketing team, you will be responsible for producing engaging, and clear copy for multiple media channels. You will be equally comfortable with long-form and short-form copy, for websites, blogs, social posts, and presentations.

Based at our state-of-the-art Blackburn headquarters, the junior copywriter will have an integral role in ensuring that we have a steady stream of content across all our core brands. Working in a tight-knit and welcoming team, you will report to our senior copywriter.

You should have excellent skills in communication and creative writing. Your role will be key in maintaining and expanding our customer engagement and new user acquisition.
