HR & Recruitment Administrator

As an HR & Recruitment Administrator at Hippo Motor Group, you will play a crucial role in our human resources and recruitment processes. You will be responsible for supporting our HR team in various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment activities, and contributing to the overall success of our HR department.

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update job listings on our website and various job boards.
  • Communicate with candidates, schedule interviews, and provide necessary information.
  • Conduct reference checks, DBS checks and Pre-employment checks, order uniforms
  • Track and maintain recruitment metrics and reports.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Manage HR-related documentation
  • Handle routine HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources.
  • Conduct inductions
  • Create new starter documentation
  • Process new starter information on Healthbox, Staff Lists etc
  • Assist with any other HR admin and keeping records up to date
  • Help keep the HR department generally well organized
  • Processing Leavers
  • Assist with staff engagement- help arrange events, process staff survey, order gifts
  • Previous experience in HR administration or recruitment is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
