Hippo Motor Group have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Automotive trainer to lead and accelerate our new Hippo Training Academy. Due to rapid expansion and future growth plans, we are introducing our own in-House training programmes to produce highly skilled specialists in a wide range of After Sales roles, including Workshop Technicians, Bodyshop Painters, Panel Beaters, Smart Repair technicians and tyre technicians. You will be responsible for facilitating the training programmes and ensuring our trainees and apprentices receive exceptional levels of teaching. Our Preparation Center services over 800 vehicles a month so the ideal candidate will be ready for a challenge and be able to provide innovative ideas and solutions. Facilitate and deliver high-quality training to Hippo trainees and apprentices
Monitor learner’s progress and ensure training plans are completed effectively
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a high standard of training is provided
Provide both classroom and practical-based training
Supporting learners on their development journey
Form relationships with local schools and apprentice providers to promote Hippo and our Training Academy
Assist with developing internal training resources
Enable improved performance and productivity of our departments

Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (Essential)
Proven experience as a light vehicle technician
Experience /knowledge of Vehicle Body shop(preferred)
Existing teaching and/or Coaching experience, and qualification (preferred)
Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills
Ability to motivate and drive a team
Highly competent written English skills and ability to effectively create/complete training material
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
Self Driven and the ability to work on own your initiative with minimal supervision
Full and valid UK driving licence
