Alloy Wheel Repair & Tyre Centre Manager

Hippo Motor Group are currently recruiting an Alloy Wheel Centre Manager to oversee our busy wheel department at our preparation centre in Blackburn.  We sell over 800 vehicles a month that all go through our workshop and body shop before sale. Our team repair and refurbish thousands of wheels per year and we have a busy department that needs a manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of the department.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am-17:00pm and 1-4 Saturday 8am – 16:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workflows for all cosmetic alloy wheel repairs
  • Manage all repairs and replacement of tyres
  • Manage stock of alloy wheels
  • Manage stock of tyres
  • Ensure company targets are met monthly

Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of alloy wheel refurbishments (painted and diamond cut)
  • Tyre fitting experience/knowledge
  • Organised with a pro-active approach to repair methods
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Bodyshop qualifications (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
